MOSCOW, Feb 15 (PRIME) -- Russian marketplace Ozon has opened its first fulfilment center in Kazakhstan to deliver orders faster, a company representative told PRIME on Wednesday.

“It includes the whole cycle of online orders making from accepting the sellers’ goods for storage to the parcel…The facility’s total area covers 10,000 square meters, it can keep up to 700,000 various items of any category from food to electronics and construction materials,” the representative said.

The center can handle no less than 24,000 orders per 24 hours.

It will enable Kazakh sellers to scale up their business on the platform. If goods are stored at the center, delivery to Russia will become faster by third and take up to 10 days.
